Christmas Tree Lighting

The Mont Alto Borough Christmas tree is located right next to MakerCraft. The town gathers for carols, fellowship, a visit from Santa, and lighting of the tree. MakerCraft opened its door to visitors last night and hosted an ornament make-and-take, gave tours, and served cider and pretzels. Even the Grinch stopped by!

Christmas Shoppe and Holiday Market

MakerCraft’s Christmas Shoppe plans new and repeat crafters including fine art, crafts, supplies and live demonstrations. For our second event we have invited both our most popular return artisans as well as new crafters and a variety of cards, supplies and unique Christmas gifts.

The MakerCraft Christmas Shoppe will be held from 10 AM until 6 PM at 6 South Main Street in Mont Alto PA on Friday and Saturday, December 13th and 14th. We wish to thank the many community members that assisted us on opening our business, and give them a chance to see what we have done with the place.

The Pop-up Market focuses on fine art and homemade/handmade crafts and items. We wish to support regional artists and crafters while stimulating the economy and giving back to our community.

Retreat

Come enjoy a weekend of crafting with old or new friends!

  • 4 days/3 nights accommodations: Thursday, January 23-Sunday, January 26.
  • 6-foot table per person
  • Irons, ironing boards, cutting mats included; bring your own rotary cutter and rulers
  • All meals are included (beginning with lunch first day through lunch last day)
  • Work on your own projects
